Oct 04, 2011 (newstodate): The Czech carrier CSA may not have found its investments since May 2011 in neighboring Slovakia rewarding.
The carrier has now decided to put three of the routes from Bratislava, Slovakia, at rest from this winter's schedule.
To be suspended are flights from Bratislava to Barcelona and Rome, served twice weekly, and to Brussels, three times weekly.
Flights from Bratislava to Amsterdam, Paris and Cyprus thus seem to have survived.
The reason for CSA's gradual pull-out may be the general recent recovery of air services to and Slovakia after a long period marked by the demise of Slovak carriers SkyEurope, Air Slovakia and Seagle Air, starting from 2009.
