Oct 31, 2011 (newstodate): DHL Express has become a lead customer at Sweden's Orebro Airport.
DHL Express is currently finishing work on its new cargo terminal facility at the airport, to become fully operational from early November 2011.
Starting from September 19, 2011, DHL Express started operating five weekly Boeing 737-330F flights from Brussels to Copenhagen into Orebro and returning from Orebro to Brussels via Copenhagen, making Orebro its fourth Swedish gateway.
In addition to the daily A300F operation at Stockholm Arlanda connecting to Leipzig, DHL Express also operates a daily flight between Leipzig and Gothenburg Landvetter, while the company's base in Southern Sweden, at Limhamn, is served with trucking connections to and from DHL's base at Copenhagen Airport.
