Jan 27, 2011 (newstodate): The Czech carrier CSA is mulling plans for a revival of its services to Hanoi, Vietnam, after more than 20 years of suspension.
In the plans is the opening of flights from Prague to Hanoi from June 22, 2011, with three weekly rotations using Airbus A320 aircraft on the route that will include a technical fueling stop at Almaty, Kazakhstan.
If plans materialize, the frequency will be reduced to a weekly rotation during the next winter schedule.
CSA would become the second East European carrier to introduce services to Vietnam after the Polish carrier LOT that is now online from Warsaw to Hanoi with three weekly rotations since November 13, 2010, using Boeing 767-300 aircraft.
