Going out are Adria Airways' CEO, Tadej Tufek, and its Executive Officer Marjan Ravnikar
-We have accepted the resignations of Mr. Tufek and Mr. Ravnikar in light of Adria's negative operating results and the fact that the current CEO and Executive Officer do not enjoy a high measure of confidence among owners and employees, reads the statement.
With immediate effect, their positions have been filled with Klemen Bostjancic as CEO and Robert Vuga as Executive Officer.
A the same meeting yesterday, the ailing carrier announced that it had secured fresh capital from owners and partners to meet its financial requirements.
A high-ranking official delegation from Slovenia is soon to visit Qatar, with signatures to a new air services agreement on the agenda.
Qatar Airways has reportedly aired interest in taking ownership of the carrier that has long been in the market for a strong partner.
