Jan 11, 2011 (newstodate): The Hungarian state is again trying to find a buyer for the troubled airline Malev.
Several attempts have been done over time to settle the ownership issue after the latest re-nationalization following on the aborted Russian adventure.
The state now negotiates directly with several potential partners for a take-over of the majority stake in Malev, and the idea of a new tender process seems not to be on the agenda.
Several airlines and other investors have been in the picture over the last decade, including Turkish companies and Aeroflot.
