Jan 10, 2011 (newstodate): The Finnish manufacturer Vaisala has landed a contract to supply weather observation systems to six airports in the Sultanate of Oman.
With deliveries to take place between 2011 and 2014, Vaisala's weather observation systems will be part of the extensive upgrade projects on two international and four regional airports in the Sultanate of Oman.
Vaisala's aviation weather systems are already used in all major international airports in the area such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and New Doha airport in Qatar.
