Sep 02, 2010 (newstodate): Effective from April 1, 2011, the Hungarian LCC WIZZ Air plans to open a new operational base at Serbia's Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport.
The carrier will allocate one Airbus A320 aircraft to the new base - its 13th - to operate flights on routes between Belgrade and Dortmund, London, Rome, Memmingen, Eindhoven, Malmoe and Stockholm-Skavsta.
WIZZ Air is already operating flights to Belgrade from London and Dortmund, while flights to Belgrade from Rome and Malmoe will start from December followed by flights from Belgrade to Stockholm, Memmingen and Eindhoven will be launched in April, 2011.
