Sep 13, 2010 (newstodate): The Russian carrier UTAir, based in Khanty Mansiysk, has taken delivery of three Boeing 737-400 aircraft.
The three ex-CSA aircraft will be further supplemented by another three before the end of this year, all through a lease arrangement.
The aircraft acquisitions are part of the ongoing fleet renewal program under which UTAir has also taken in two ex-Finnair Boeing 757-200 aircraft.
UTAir has also taken delivery of six ex-Lufthansa CityLine CRJ-900 aircraft, and this will grow to 15 in 2011.
As the new aircraft enter operation, the carrier will retreat its TU-134 and TU-154 aircraft from service.
