Sep 07, 2010 (newstodate): Norway's Bergen International Airport is enhancing its airside safety with new systems delivered by Sensis Corporation.
Sensis Corporation will provide its multilateration system to triangulate aircraft and vehicle locations based on transponder signals, providing air traffic controllers with precise aircraft position and identification information in any weather conditions and effective surveillance for increased safety.
Sensis will also implement its VeeLo NextGen - a small, light weight device attached to the exterior of an airport vehicle and providing air traffic controllers with situational awareness of vehicles operating on the airport surface.
