Sep 06, 2010 (newstodate): Slovakia's new carrier and ACMI provider Air Explore experienced a problem with its single Boeing 737 aircraft on September 4, 2010 - but the issue is identified and the aircraft will return to service again from this evening.
-The problem was with a fuel pipe, but the incident forced the aircraft to land at Kos, Greece, and evacuate passengers by the slide, says Martin Stulajter, Air Explore CEO.
-We have seen good business during our first summer season and are still performing the remaining parts of the program, in addition to selling capacity on ad-hoc basis.
-Plans are now to add a second Boeing 737-400 aircraft by April next year to meet increasing demands in the market for air transportation and ACMI services, says Mr Stulajter.
Air Explore, headed by Martin Stulajter as CEO and co-owner, was set up by a group of former Seagle Air and Air Slovakia employees and received its AOC on May 31, 2010.
