Sep 14, 2010 (newstodate): Like a lightning from the clear blue sky, Korean Air Cargo has announced the addition of a third weekly freighter service at Sweden's Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
Only less than a month ago, Korean Air Cargo Sales Manager Sweden & Finland, Carina Palmgren told newstodate that "Korean Air Cargo is so far maintaining two weekly freighter services at Stockholm Arlanda Airport".
-Things are sometimes moving very fast, and we are overjoyed by the fact that we will see a third weekly freighter flight at Stockholm Arlanda from October 3, 2010, says Ms Palmgren.
-Even more important is the scheduling of the freighter that will operate on Sundays, allowing exporters a full week of production to deliver shipments for carriage on the Korean Air Cargo freighter to Seoul.
-The reaction among forwarders in the Swedish market has been very positive to this news, and with the seamless cooperation between Korean Air Cargo in Sweden and Denmark we are able to direct shipments between freighters at both Stockholm and Copenhagen to provide a fine-masked network of services, says Ms Palmgren.
After October 3, 2010, two of Korean's freighter flights will be routed Seoul-Amsterdam-Stockholm-Seoul while one is routed Seoul-Frankfurt-Stockholm-Seoul.
