Sep 08, 2010 (newstodate): The European market for charter airlines is to see one carrier more going out of business.
The French carrier and wet-lease provider Blue Line will be liquidated on October 6, 2010, and the future of the company remains uncertain after that date.
Blue Line is operating a fleet comprising two Airbus A310, four MD-83 and two Fokker 100, one of which has been serving with the Latvian carrier airBaltic as well as the SAS Groups Wideroe during this summer schedule.
The demise of Blue Line follows on similar retreats from the markets by other French carriers New Axis Airways in 2009 and Aeris, earlier.
