Sep 29, 2010 (newstodate): Estonian Air is streamlining its traffic to Stockholm, Sweden, stressing the importance of Tallinn Airport as their prime hub.
Effective from February 27, 2011, Estonian Air will move its passengers from Tartu to Stockholm from direct flights between these two points to flights via Tallinn Airport.
Estonian Air is currently offering two weekly rotations between Tartu, in southern Estonia, and Stockholm, and from February 2011 passengers embarking in Tartu for Stockholm will have instead six weekly flights available via Tallinn Airport connecting to on-ward flights for Stockholm, and six weekly late evening flights back.
The flight schedule is designed to allow passengers from Tartu via Tallinn minimum waiting time to early morning connection flights to Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Moscow, Vilnius, Kuressaare, Oslo, Stockholm, while the late evening return flight to Tartu offers good connection for passengers returning from Copenhagen, Brussels, London, Stockholm, Oslo, Kuressaare or Vilnius.
Estonian Air will operate the last flight on the Tartu-Stockholm route on December 19, 2010.

-As for our flights from other Estonian destinations to Stockholm during the summer season, these will not be changed in the coming schedules, says Ms Eskelinen.
