Sep 15, 2010 (newstodate): Korean Air is to pay its first-ever visit to a Croatian airport later this month.
The carrier will operate two chartered Boeing 777 flights from Seoul to Zagreb Airport on September 18 and 25, respectively, carrying Korean and other Asian tourists to visit the country.
In Croatia, the two flights are optimistically seen as a possible prelude to the opening of scheduled Korean Air flights to Zagreb from next year's summer schedule.
Zagreb has also seen five Japan Air Lines flights from Tokyo, Nagoya, Hiroshima and Sapporo during the summer season.
