Aug 12, 2010 (newstodate): The Icelandic charter carrier and ACMI provider Primera Air is now confirming plans for establishing an operational base at Oslo Gardermoen Airport.
The carrier will base one Boeing 737-800 aircraft at Oslo primarily to serve tour operator Solia but also available for other operations.
Primera Air is currently recruiting cabin crews and will start operations at Oslo from October 2010.
-We had some operation in Norway about two years ago, and hopefully we will now be able to keep one aircraft on this market on permanent basis, says Jon Karl Olafsson, Primera Air CEO.
Other operational bases of Primera Air include the airports of Stockholm, Helsinki, Billund, and Copenhagen.
