Aug 09, 2010 (newstodate): Norway's Oslo Gardermoen Airport is now intensifying its efforts to attract new airlines to match the growing demand for direct international air services.
A project has been launched in cooperation with external consultants to attract more attention among airlines to exploit market opportunities on under-served destinations from Oslo Gardermoen.
Among the destinations high on the list of priorities are Beijing and other Chinese destinations as well as Madrid and other European destinations.
So far the focus of the project is solely on passenger air traffic.
