Aug 30 (newstodate): This week will be crucial for the project "North Express" that aims to set up a new regional air traffic provider in the northern parts of Norway.
As earlier reported by newstodate, the project group, headed by Gote Aspen, has given up hopes to find investors on their own, turning instead to a sale of the detailed project to another airline operator.
-We have handed in all project materials and papers and are in talks with a carrier that is potentially interested in taking over the plans for North Express, says Gote Aspen.
-Having gone through all the details in the project, the airline board is now to make a final decision this week on whether to take over project or not. This is the final call for us: we have ourselves invested much time and money in the project and consider the sale as the last effort to bring cheap and sustainable air transport to Northern Norway, says Mr Aspen.
