Aug 04, 2010 (newstodate): Adding to the air transport offerings at Latvia's Riga Airport will be a Russian carrier with flights to Moscow Vnukovo Airport.
Effective from August 17, 2010, UTAir will provide a daily rotation between Riga and Moscow, using CRJ 100 aircraft on the route.
With the Latvian carrier airBaltic and Russia's Aeroflot already offering similar services, albeit into Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport, the two cities will thus be connected by four daily rotations.
With this latest addition, Latvia's Riga Airport is now offering direct non-stop flights to a total of 81 destinations.
