Following an accident in March 2010, Aviastar-TU, based in Moscow, Russia. was banned by FAA from carrying passengers, pending an examination of the airline's flight operations.
The carrier operates a fleet of four TU-204 aircraft, three of which are freighters including one operating for DHL Express.
