Aug 10, 2010 (newstodate): The Icelandic charter carrier and ACMI provider Primera Air is planning to open a new operational base at Oslo Gardermoen Airport, Norway.
The carrier is currently recruiting cabin crews and will start operations at Oslo from October 2010.
The carrier, managed by Jon Karl Olafsson, is expected to base one Boeing 737-800 aircraft at Oslo, to serve a yet-unidentified tour operator from the coming winter season.
Other operational bases of Primera Air include the airports of Stockholm, Helsinki, Billund, and Copenhagen..
