Aug 03, 2010 (newstodate): In the air between Doha and Copenhagen only since March 30, 2010, Qatar Airways is already preparing to increase capacity and frequency on the route.
Currently operating four weekly flights between Doha and Copenhagen using Airbus A319 aircraft, the carrier plans to upgrade from Airbus A319 to Airbus A330-300 from November, 2010, and increase weekly operations to six rotations from February 2011, and to daily operations from later in spring 2011.
Qatar Airways made its debut in Scandinavia with the route to Stockholm, Sweden, launched on November 27, 2007, now served daily with Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
