Aug 26, 2010 (newstodate): Qatar Airways, operating at Copenhagen Airport since March 30, 2010, is responding to market demands for more services.
Effective from October 31, 2010, the new winter schedule will see Qatar increasing capacity on the route between Doha and Copenhagen by substituting the current Airbus A319 service with Airbus A330 instead, and from February 2, 2011, the flight frequency will go op from the durrent four weekly rotations to five, with a sixth flight to be added from February 21, 2011.
It is furthermore expected that Qatar Airways will go up to daily flights at Copenhagen from later in spring 2011.
While the carrier offers similar services at Stockholm Arlanda Airport since November 27, 2007, the Norwegian market is now raising hopes to see the opening of flights between Doha and Oslo from later in 2001.
