Aug 12, 2010 (newstodate): The Polish carrier LOT is planning to launch flights to Georgia from September this year.
The carrier, member of the Star Alliance, will offer three rotations on the new route between Warsaw and Tbilisi from September 15, which will be the first and only direct air connection between the two countries.
Other European carriers offering flights to Georgia include the Czech airline CSA from Prague and airBaltic from Riga, Latvia.
