Aug 12, 2010 (newstodate): Newcomer at Copenhagen Airport from September will be the newly formed Macedonian carrier Airlift Service.
In addition to flights from Skopje to Copenhagen, the carrier also plans to launch new flights to Stuttgart, Germany.
Earlier this month, Airlift Service took delivery of its second Boeing 737-300 aircraft and is already mulling plans for the acquisition of a third aircraft to serve as back-up.
Airlift Service, based at Skopje, obtained its AOC in May, 2010, and is owned by Skywings Macedonia, a subsidiary of the German tour operator Skywings.
