July 2010 (newstodate): Moscow Domodedovo Airport has landed a new airline customer in the CIS region.
New operator at the airport is Tajikistan's East Air, based at Dushanbee, that is now offering two weekly rotations on a new route between Kulyab, in the South-East of the country, to Moscow Domodedovo Airport, using Boeing 737 aircraft.
East Air was set up in 2007, and operates a a fleet of seven Boeing 737 aircraft of various types.
Its prime business is to serve as a capacity provider for other airlines, including Tajik Air, Icar Air and Iraqi Airways, and the new route is East Air's first own scheduled service.
