July 02, 2010 (newstodate): With effect from July 1, 2010, Lufthansa Cargo has declared itself to be capable of scanning all belly-load cargo shipments on aircraft departing from its US stations.
The carrier has thus completed the program one month ahead of schedule, and is the first carrier to fully comply with latest TSA requirements for air cargo security.
