All aircraft are acquired on a leasing contract with Magpie Aviation Leasing and Bank of Scotland.
Set up in 1953 as part of Tatarstan Airlines and the Aeroflot Bugulma Division, Ak Bars Aero, formerly named Bugulma Aviation Enterprise operates its fleet of CRJ aircraft on a network connecting key airports in Tatarstan with numerous destinations in Russia, the CIS region and other countries.
