9.Jun 08, 2010 (newstodate): An upturn in Sweden's cargo volumes is clearly marked by the latest statistics from Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
A total of 11,773 tonnes was handled at the airport in April 2010 - up 14.7 percent over 2009.
This follows on increases by 14-15 percent, y-o-y, during the preceding months.
During January-April the airport thus handled a total of 46,867 tonnes, an increase by 11 percent, y-o-y.
-We are seeing a stable development in 2010, and indications are that the May figures will continue the positive trend, says Bjorn Ragnebrink, Swedavia.
