Jun 29, 2010 (newstodate): JAT Airways is in need of aircraft to fully meet the demands in its current flight program.
According to Serb media, the carrier can now operate only seven out of its total of 15 aircraft as most are grounded for technical reasons.

The first aircraft is due for delivery by early September, while the second aircraft will follow by the end of the year, according to industry sources.
In the meantime efforts are still being made to set up a new Serb carrier to take over all assets, including aircraft and crews, from the existing JAT Airways - except its debts..
