Jun 23, 2010 (newstodate): The Scandinavian carrier SAS is seeing passenger volumes booming on its long-haul routes and is readying to expand services from this autumn.
Compared to last winter's schedule, SAS will increase frequencies to daily flights from Copenhagen to Bangkok, Chicago and New York, and frequency will also go up the routes from Stockholm to New York as well as from Copenhagen to Dubai.
To facilitate this traffic growth, SAS plans to re-activate one of its two Airbus A340 aircraft, currently parked, from the start of the winter schedule.
