Jun 18, 2010 (newstodate): The opening by the end of October 2010 of the new low-cost terminal at Copenhagen Airport, Swift is expected to attract new traffic to Denmark's capital airport.
Among new potential airlines is Ryanair, currently not serving Copenhagen, that has filed slots applications from Copenhagen Airport to a total of 23 destinations.
The destinations are Belgien: Charleroi in Belgium, Lappeenranta and Tampere in Finland, Montpellier in France, Eindhoven in Holland, Brindisi, Pisa, Rom-Ciampino in Italy, Sais in Maroc, Haugesund in Norway, Alicante, Jerez de la Frontera, Madrid, M�laga, Reus, Santander in Spain, Dublin, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Prestwick, Shannon in the UK and Ireland, and Dresden and Leipzig in Germany.
The slots applications do not actually reveal if the carrier will launch flights on the routes.
