Jun 25, 2010 (newstodate): Negotiated by Skyworld Aviation, the Romanian airline Direct Aero Services has added two Saab 340A aircraft to its fleet in 2010.
The aircraft, one former Lagunair aircraft and one ex-Aviatrans aircraft, take the carrier's SAAB 340 fleet to four units.
The new aircraft are now operating on regional passenger routes on behalf of Direct Aero's sister airline, Blue Air of Romania, primarily from Bucharest to Arad, Cluj and Sibiu.
Founded in March 2007 and based at Romania's Bucharest Baneasa Airport, Direct Aero Services is a privately owned Romanian company operating air taxi services and air ambulance flights.
