June 21, 2010 (newstodate): Lithuanian aircraft maintenance provider, FL Technics has announced plans to open 20 new line stations in EU.
This month the company opened a new Line station in Milan Malpensa Airport and currently operates nine Line stations.
Plans are, however, to expand this network to a total of 30 locations by 2012.
-We have approved the comprehensive USD 25 million investment program for the 2010-2015 period and development of Line stations network is part of it, says Jonas Butautis, FL Technics CEO.
-The main directions of our development are regional airports in Poland, Italy, Sweden, Norway, and CIS countries with annual capacity of more than 0.5 million passengers and without a local MRO base.
FL Technics currently operates a network of remote line stations in Italy, Turkey, Lithuania, Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan.
