Jun 10, 2010 (newstodate): Lithuanian aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul provider, FL Technics will invest USD 25 million to expand its maintenance capacity, list of capabilities, product range, and improve service quality.
FL Technics' Board has approved a program, which includes construction of additional new hangars in Vilnius, expansion of capability list of base and line maintenance, Part M products, expansion of network of line stations, acquisition of needed equipment and training programs for company employees, to be implemented in the period 2010-2015.
This year FL Technics has added Boeing 737 NG to its EASA Part 145, Part 147 and Part M activities and started preparations to add Airbus A320 and ATR 42/72 aircraft types.
During 2011-2015, the list of aircraft serviced will be extended with CRJ 200, CRJ 900, Embraer 145, Embraer 175 and business jets Hawker 850 aircraft types.
FL Technics also plans to construct new hangars at Vilnius International Airport.
FL Technics will also further develop the network of line stations, currently operateing nine line stations in locations from Italy to Turkey, with plans to expand this network to a total of 30 locations by 2013.
