Jun 25, 2010 (newstodate): Effective from November 1, 2010, the LCC easyJet plans to launch flights on a new route between Basel, Switzerland, and Copenhagen Airport.
In the plans are four weekly rotations on the route that will bring back Basel to the network of Copenhagen Airport after being un-served since Cimber Sterling pulled out.
easyJet currently operates five route from Copenhagen, with a new route to Paris to open from September 10, 2010 as the latest addition prior to the decision on the new route to Basel.
easyJet will move its operations at Copenhagen to the airport new LCC terminal, Swift that will open later this year, offering significant reductions in costs for its airline operators.
