Jun 11, 2010 (newstodate): As the Latvian carrier airBaltic is increasing its presence in the neighboring Estonian market, the carrier has decided to take over its own cargo sales work in the country.
Effective from July 1, 2010, airBaltic Cargo will end its long-standing GSA contract with AirProxy, managing instead the sales with the 10 Estonian CASS agents directly from the office in Riga, Latvia.
-After this adjustment, all airBaltic sales in the three Baltic markets will be handled from the office in Riga, as is also the case with more than 40 online and offline GSAs in rest of the world, says Toms Andersons, AirBaltic Head of Cargo.
