Jun 22, 2010 (newstodate): Icelandair Cargo has designated Pacific Air Logistics Pvt Ltd. as its cargo GSA in the Indian market.
-Although the carrier is off-line in India, there is definitely a market for the Icelandair Cargo here, says Ajay Dutta, Pacific Air Logistics Pvt Ltd. sales manager in Delhi.
-Volumes are limited, but we do have general cargo as ex-India export shipments for Icelandair. The cargo is flown by other airlines on special rate agreements from India into London Heathrow and transferred unto Icelandair aircraft for onward flights, says MS Dutta.
