Jun 22, 2010 (newstodate): The Danish charter carrier and ACMI provider, Jet Time has added a seventh Boeing 737 aircraft to serve till October.
-The aircraft, a Boeing 737-400, has been leased to serve as a back-up for our own fleet comprising six Boeing 737-300 aircraft during the peak season, says Steen Elmer Jensen, Jet Time Sales Manager, Special Charters ACMI & Cargo.
-The increased aircraft capacity will also allow us to perform a certain volume of cargo flights with the Boeing 737-300QC aircraft acquired in early March 2010. So far the aircraft has been too busy flying with passengers that we have not been able to accept cargo operations as this summer's traffic operated for charter companies increased.
After handing back the Boeing 737-400 aircraft to its French owner in the autumn, Jet Time has no immediate plans for expanding its fleet beyond the six aircraft currently in service.
