The Russian carrier Transaero reports a total of 9,403 tonnes of cargo carried in January-April 2010 - an increase by 38.4 percent, y-o-y.
The growth was even more marked in April 2010 when the airline handled a total of 2,840 tonnes - up 42.1 percent, y-o-y.
The privately-owned airline, Russia's second-largest international carrier, was the first introduce Boeing 747 aircraft in Russia.
