Jun 01, 2010 (newstodate): The Armenian carrier Armavia has launched flights on new route between Armenia and Russia.
The new route connects Yerevan with Arkhangelsk, and the carrier will initially offer one bi-weekly flights, later to be increase to two weekly flights as warranted by the demand in the market.
The new route, transiting via Tbilisi, Georgia, will offer transit facilities for Russian passengers via Yerevan to Armavia destinations including Dubai, Delhi, Antalya, Tunisia, Sharm el-Sheikh and other Middle East destinations.
