May 20, 2010 (newstodate): Launching freighter flights from May 12, Finnair Cargo is now fully up to schedule - and with a nice reception in the market.
-We are now operating two weekly flights between Helsinki and Hong Kong, and two weekly flights betwseen Helsinki and Seoul with our own MD-11F aircraft - and operations have been entirely up to schedule with no technical or operational snags, says Heikki Nikamaa, Finnair Cargo responsible for freighter operations.
-The reception in the market has been very positive, both in Europe and in Asia. Load figures have been high, and the operations in almost perfect balance, with full flights from Asia and almost as full flights eastwards, says Mr Nikamaa.
