May 20, 2010 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Kuban Airlines has taken delivery of its first Boeing 737-300 aircraft as part of its fleet modernization program.
Under the program, the carrier will receive a further three ex-bmibaby Boeing 737-300 before the end of this year.
Kuban Airlines, based at Krasnodar, has also decided to place orders for delivery of three AN-148 aircraft, and the current fleet of 12 YAK-42 aircraft will gradually be phased out.
