May 11, 2010 (newstodate): Air Moldova, based at Chisinau, Moldova, has taken delivery of its first Embraer 190 aircraft.
The carrier placed its order for the aircraft in February, 2008, and still has purchase rights for one aircraft.
In the carrier's fleet are also four Airbus A320, one Embraer 120, as well as one YAK-40 and one TU-134 aircraft operated for the country's government.
Air Moldova operates flight on a route network comprising Frankfurt, Vienna, Bucharest, Istanbul, Lisbon, Madrid, London, Athens, Larnaca, Rome, Milan, Verona, Paris, Prague, Moscow, St Petersburg, Varna, Munich, and Kiev.
