May 07, 2010 (newstodate): Finnair is increasing frequencies on its routes between Finland and Japan during the summer season.
The carrier will operate a total of 20 weekly flights between Helsinki and Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya, being one of the few airlines to offer a connection to all three of Japan's most important destinations.
Already offering daily flights from Helsinki to Tokyo Narita Airport, Finnair will also operate daily to Osaka, and add a sixth weekly flight to its services to Nagoya.
Finnair's vision is to be the prime option in Asian traffic and number one in the Nordic countries.
Japanese traffic is a key part of Finnair's Asian strategy.
