May 31, 2010 (newstodate): Air Canada is in the advanced stage of preparations for launch of Scandinavian services to Denmark.
The carrier will launch flights on June 24, offering five weekly rotations between Toronto and Copenhagen with Boeing 767-300ER aircraft and revising its initial plans for daily services from the start.
Heading Air Canada in Scandinavia from June 1, 2010, will be Marc Sam, formerly with SAS Cargo.
The carrier has been on-line at Copenhagen several times before, offering seasonal summer flight schedules only.
Expectations are, however, that Air Canada is entering the Danish market with year-round services this time.
