Apr 06, 2010 (newstodate): Denmark's 2nd largest international airport, Billund Airport is seeing its cargo volumes re-bouncing in 2010.
During this year's first quarter, the airport handled a total of 12,950 tonnes of cargo, an increase by 24.2 percent, y-o-y.
Included in the totals are 7,287 tonnes of imports, up 47.7 percent, y-o-y, and 5,663 tonnes of exports, increasing 3.2 percent, y-o-y.
In March 2010 alone, the airport handled a total of 45.955 tonnes, up 28.3 percent, y-o-y, including 2,732 tonnes of imports, up 42.9 percent, and 2,223 tonnes of exports, up 14 percent, y-o-y.
