Apr 26, 2010 (newstodate): The Estonian state and SAS are expected to announce their agreement a deal over SAS' stakes in Estonian Air this week.
-We have agreed in principle with SAS, that the Estonian Government will acquire the majority shares in Estonian Air, says Rasmus Ruuda, Estonia's Ministry of Transportation Counsellor.
-We will probably sign the Letter of Intent on the issue this week.
According to reports in the Estonian press, the third party in the present ownership circle, the Estonian investment group Cresco with 17 percent will probably also seek to divest of its portfolio if the state is to regain full control of the carrier.
