Apr 06, 2010 (newstodate): Two Russian airlines are planning to take delivery of Boeing 747 aircraft.
The privately-owned carrier VIM Avia is reportedly planning to take up to six Boeing 747 aircraft, with the first to be delivered in 2010 already, and the new Russian charter airline I Fly, based at Moscow Vnukovo Airport, is also in the market for the acquisition of two Boeing 747 aircraft.
The first Russian carrier to operate the Boeing 747 aircraft was Transaero that took delivery of its first junbo aircraft in 2005 already.
