Apr 26, 2010 (newstodate): Sundt Atlanta Skybridge has delayed the re-start of services from Oslo Gardermoen to New York, originally slated for May 1, 2010.
-The start will rather be by mid-May, as we have not managed to secure the aircraft needed in time, says Arild Jaabaek, Sundt Atlanta Skybridge CEO.
According to industry sources, the service, once in place, will probably not be with Boeing 747 freighters from Icelandic ACMI provider, Air Atlanta Icelandic, currently also a partner in the JV, but with aircraft from another provider, yet unnamed.
-Our service will be relaunched with a new combination of parties, says Mr Jaabaek.
More information on these issues is awaited shortly.
