Apr 16, 2010 (newstodate): The rather negative evaluation of airfreight by the Czech Prague Airport spokesperson, quoted by newstodate earlier this week, has surprised many industry observers.
-It was Prague Airport's statement. CSA Czech Airlines does not comment on statements by other companies, says Petr Podzimek, CSA press spokesman.
-Czech Airlines is currently undergoing conversion to a holding structure. Within this structure, the controlling company, Czech Airlines, will focus on regular flights, while cargo will be the main business of one of the subsidiaries to be established.
-As for the 2009 cargo figures, these data will be published in Czech Airlines Annual Report during this summer. But in 2008, Czech Airlines Cargo carried 21,925 tonnes of mail and cargo, says Mr Podzimek.
